To display the Pan & Zoom window, select Show the Pan & Zoom window at the bottom right of the window.Ī blue box indicates the region of the page that is shown in the drawing window. To fit the diagram page to the current window, select Fit page to current window. Zoom in and out of the drawing using the slider in the lower-right corner. Zoom out: Press Ctrl and the - key. Or press Ctrl+mouse wheel, then scroll downward. Or press Ctrl+mouse wheel, then scroll upward. To zoom out: Press Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel down to zoom out from the region in focus. To zoom in: Press Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel up to zoom into the region in focus. Place the mouse pointer in the region you want to zoom: Use a pinching motion with your thumb and forefinger to zoom in (pinching inward) or zoom out (pinching outward). If your device has a touchscreen or trackpad: Pan and zoom quickly with a touchscreen or trackpad ![]() To view other sections of the diagram (or to “pan” the diagram), click inside the blue box and drag it over the section you want to view. Resize the blue box by dragging a side until it fits the area that you want to magnify. The blue box indicates the region of the page that is shown in the drawing window. Zoom in and Zoom out icons - on either side of the zoom slider, there are the Zoom in and Zoom out icons, represented by a plus (+) and minus (-) symbol respectively. On the View tab, in the Show group, click Task Panes, and then click Pan & Zoom. Moving it to the left zooms out, allowing you to view more rows and columns, while moving it to the right zooms in, providing a closer look at the worksheet. Zoom and pan by using the Pan & Zoom window The controls include a slider that sets the zoom level, a button to fit the page to the size of the current window, and a button to open the Pan & Zoom window. Hold the pointer over each control to see what the control does. The zoom controls are in the Visio status bar, below the diagramming page. If the status bar is not switched on, choose View.
